General
What are certified translations?
Certified translations are word-for-word literal translations of all visible source-language text. Every certified translation is accompanied by a signed Certification of Translation Accuracy. This type of translation can be used for official use cases such as medical, academic, financial, immigration, and many local, state, and federal legal agencies.
What languages do you translate?
We specialize in Spanish and English translations. This includes Spanish to English and English to Spanish translations.
How do I get my free quote?
What file-format should I submit?
You can upload images, PDF’s, Microsoft Word documents and text files up to 100 MB in size.
Are my files secure?
All files submitted for translation are encrypted and deleted from our system upon translation completion. We never store or share any source files.
If you are not interested in purchasing your quote, we will still safely remove your order from our system, along with any associated files.
Do my translations require notarization?
We recommend confirming the requirements of your translations with it’s end-users in order to know whether your translations require a notarizatio or not.
What is an Apostille and how do I know if my translations require one?
According to the U.S. Department of State an apostille certifies a document so countries in the 1961 Hague Convention will recognize it.
If your translations will be used in any of the countries listed in this table – they’ll most likely require an Apostille.
Lastly, we recommend confirming the requirements of your translations with it’s end-users in order to know whether your translations require an apostille or not.
How long will my quote take?
Your quote will generally be ready within minutes and will take no longer than 24 hours to prepare. If we require more information about your order, we’ll reach out to you using the information you provided when creating your order.
Prices
How much does a translation cost?
Our certified translations are priced per-page. We provide a customized quote for each translation project, taking into account word count, formatting, and other project requirements such as delivery date, notarization, etc., to arrive at an accurate price per-page for your entire translation project.
How much do notarizations cost?
Notarizations are $15.00 per document.
How much is expedited delivery?
The price for expedited delivery is quoted upon request and is based on project size and requirements.
Payments
How do I pay for my translations?
Once you have received your quote, you will have the option to pay and confirm it. Doing so, will confirm that you’d like us to begin working on your translations. If you are not interested in purchasing your quote, we will safely remove your order from our system, along with any associated files.
What payment methods can I use?
We accept all major cards including: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. We also support Apple Pay and Bank payments using (ACH).
About your data security:
We use Wave as our payment processor. Their servers are physically and electronically protected. Any connections between you, your bank accounts, and Wave are protected by 256-bit SSL encryption. Delivery
What delivery options do I have?
We provide three delivery options.
1. In the next 24 hours: Select this option if you require your translations within 24 hours.
2. In the coming days or weeks: Select this option for us to provide the exact delivery date of your order in your quote.
3. I have a date in mind: Select this option if you have a specific date that you’ll require your translations for. This option cannot be selected without choosing a calendar date.
Can you ship my translations?
All of our translations are delivered electronically. However, if electronic delivery is not an option for you, we can accomadate a delivery option that best suits your needs.
We ship nationwide and internationally.
Revisions
What are revisions?
Revisions are required changes to the translated text. With certified translations being literal, word-for-word translations of the source-language text, only the information contained in the source material can be included and nothing else.
The following are examples that help to explain what is and isn’t defined as a required revision:
A required revision: A handwritten document where an “o” is confused with an “a” in the translation.
Not a required revision: Your birth certificate reads “Jhon” but the correct spelling of your name is “John”. This is not a required revision as this must be corrected in the source document and not in the translation.
How can I request a revision?
Once your translations have been delivered, you’ll have the option to request a revision to your translations if required.
Do I have to pay for revisions?
Never. They are included in your order and there is no limit to the number of revisions that can be requested.
